Toto Prize Structure: Find Out How Much You Can Win!
The Sports Toto prize structure can be overwhelmingly complicated for beginners to the lottery game, especially as there are eight different games you can bet on. The winning numbers are drawn every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Toto results becoming available that night itself. Special draws are sometimes conducted on Tuesdays.
In this article, we will be looking at the prize structure of different Toto games and how much of a payout you can expect. If you're new to the online lottery, we recommend reading our article on how to play TOTO before starting. It will enhance your experience.

4D Toto
The standard 4-digits game, players place a bet on one set of 4 digit numbers. In this classic game, there are three different methods of play: standard play, i-perm play, and roll play. Punters can bet on “big” or “small”.
The “big” bet denotes that one is betting that their number would match any winning number drawn for any category. Meanwhile, a “small” bet means that the number you bet on would only match the winning numbers drawn for first, second, or third prize.
The prize structure is as follows:
Prize | Toto 4D Big | Toto 4D Small |
1st Prize | RM 2,500 | RM 3,500 |
2nd Prize | RM 1,000 | RM 2,000 |
3rd Prize | RM 500 | RM 1,000 |
10 Special | RM 180 | – |
10 Consolation | RM 60 | – |
4D Toto I-perm
If you are playing the permutations game, here is what you can expect:

4D Jackpot
In the 4D Jackpot game, bettors place wagers on two sets of 4-digit numbers. Both these numbers must then match the winning numbers for you to win a prize. Here is the prize money to expect for this game:

In this game, the prize money cascades if it is not won. For example, if the 1st prize (Jackpot 1) is not won, and the prize money has amounted to RM 20,000,000 or more, it will cascade and be added to the second prize (Jackpot 2) for the next draw. However, if there is no Jackpot 2 prize winner, the cascading stops and the prize money for first prize grows beyond.

4D Zodiac
Like the classic 4D game, 4D Zodiac is similar but with a twist. In this game, punters place a bet on a set of 4D numbers and a Chinese Zodiac. There are twelve zodiacs to choose from: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, chicken, dog, and pig.
To win the top prizes at TOTO, your number must match one of the winning combinations along with the zodiac drawn. Here is the prize structure for this game:
Prize | How To Win | Winnings |
1st | 1st prize 4D + Zodiac | RM 18,000 |
2nd | 2nd prize 4D + Zodiac | RM 6,000 |
3rd | 3rd prize 4D + Zodiac | RM 3,000 |
4th | Special prize + Zodiac | RM 900 |
5th | Consolation prize + Zodiac | RM 300 |
6th | Any 4D number drawn | RM 60 |
4D Zodiac I-Perm
In this game, you can also bet using the i-perm option to increase your odds of winning. However, the payout is understandably lower:

5D Toto
Similar to the classic 4D game, 5D Toto has the same base rules. The only difference in this game is that gamblers bet on a set of 5-digit numbers instead of 4. Here is what you can expect to win for the 5D Toto game:
Prize | How To Win | Payout |

5D Toto i-Perm
5D Toto also has permutations betting options for players. Since it increases the odds of winning, the prize structure is slightly different:
