We’re definitely digging this whole medieval, king-themed online casino, but is it a place worth betting? As we said earlier, we’re definitely enjoying the medieval king theme at King Billy, and their VIP program continues that theme. Rise through the ranks of the nobility until you’re a king yourself, getting 15% cashback, among other great bonuses. You can progress through the VIP tiers by betting 235 MYR or more on slots and 1150 MYR at the Live Casino, table games, and video poker. You will not accumulate points for “safe bets” like red or black on roulette. You’ll also earn points by depositing 235 MYR or more.
Qualifying bets will reward you with King’s Coins, which can be exchanged for real currency at varying rates depending on your VIP level at King Billy. This isn’t the most extensive VIP program we’ve ever seen, but it’s definitely a nice bonus to have. We will say that the royal score requirements seem hard to meet unless you’re a high roller. We would’ve liked to see lower betting and deposit requirements to make it easier to rise through the different tiers.

The only deposit and withdrawal methods available to us in Malaysia were debit cards and two eWallets. This is pretty disappointing since there are other alternatives like cash vouchers, more eWallets, bank transfers, and crypto. Customer Support
We’ll be upfront and say that we are heavily disappointed with the customer support options available at King Billy. While almost every site has 24/7 Live Chat, they have forgone it in favor of email and social media. You can contact them on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, but you’re more than likely going to have to email them to get ahold of someone.
The HELP tab on the right side of the screen lists their customer support options along with some quick links to common FAQs. We thought this was their Live Chat at first, but as we said, they don’t have one. Hopefully, they add one in the future, as a Live Chat is a basic necessity for any online casino these days.
Licensing and Security
While their customer service is a bit of a downer, their licensing and security definitely helps bring that category back up. They have a verifiable license from the Malta Gaming Authority. You can see for yourself by clicking the certificate at the bottom of their site, but to truly verify any certificate, you should head over to the licensing authority.

There is no app for iOS, so iPhone and iPad users are out of luck. There is an app for Android users, however. Wrap-Up
After our in-depth review, we can’t help but be slightly disappointed with what, on the surface, looks like a great casino. The fact that there is no 24/7 Live Chat and limited deposit and withdrawal options for Malaysian players is definitely a bummer. No sportsbook, fishing games, or online lotteries also knocks this site down a few points in our review. The VIP program is nice, but it seems hard to progress through unless you're betting thousands on their site.
That said, they do have a fully verifiable license from the Malta Gaming Authority, which is huge.
