A Closer Look at TigerGaming
TigerGaming has been around since 1999 and was one of the giants when it came to online casinos. While it was mostly known for poker back then, they’ve definitely expanded and focused on other games as time has passed. They definitely need to focus more on it if they want to remain competitive, but we’ll get more into that later.
If you’re worried about it being a scam, there are two things to say about that. The first is that scam sites don’t last as long as TigerGaming has. Remember, it’s been around since 1999; scam sites barely last a handful of years. The second is that they have a gaming license from Curacao, which isn’t the best license in this industry, but it still shows they answer to some sort of higher authority.
We should also mention that this site isn’t friendly with some countries, the USA being the biggest. It’s available for most South East Asian players, but check our list of restricted countries above if you’re unsure. With that preliminary information out of the way, let’s take an extensive dive into everything TigerGaming has to offer online players.
Games and Sportsbook Betting
As we mentioned before, TigerGaming was mainly known for its poker in the early days of online gambling, but over time has expanded into multiple areas. They have a sportsbook, virtual slots, and tables, as well as live casino tables with real-life dealers. Here’s a quick summary of what to expect in each section of TigerGaming’s site.
Sportsbook
The sportsbook at TigerGaming is decent but could definitely use some work. We do like the ability to change the odds to different formats. Depending on your preference, you can have the odds displayed in American odds, decimal odds, or fractional odds. They had a lot of sports, but only certain ones were available, which is definitely surprising. While there might not have been any wrestling matches happening at the time, there definitely were some planned for later dates that should’ve been available to bet on. They also still had the 2022 Football World Cup listed still, which suggests they haven’t updated it in a while.
TigerGaming also has a Live Betting tab where you can view different matches happening right at that very moment. If you like betting on “the now” rather than “the later”, this tab is definitely for you. If you’re looking for eSport matches, you’ll have to keep looking. While they did have some FIFA matches in the Live Betting tab, there were no other games listed under their main sportsbook, suggesting it’s not an important category for them.
Slots & Virtual Tables
Compared to their sportsbook, the online slots, and virtual tables are slightly better. They still lack a wide variety and only seem to have two software providers: Betsoft and Rival Gaming. Together, these two providers have maybe, two hundred games. It’s hard to get a solid count with the way TigerGaming has its site setup, but it’s not a lot compared to sites with thousands of virtual games.
That said, they still have a decent selection that should keep you entertained. We tried out a few to test their speed and quality and were pretty happy with them. We definitely enjoyed Book of Helios and Take the Bank. We felt they had nice graphics and mechanics that would make them enjoyable for long sessions of play. We also enjoyed playing online blackjack at their virtual tables, where we could control the pace of the game rather than a live dealer.
Live Casino
Live Casino is definitely where it’s at. A lot of players started playing Live Casino tables once COVID hit and physical casinos were closed. Many still play online and refuse to go back to casinos, and why would they? You get to relax at home, play some fun games, and enjoy everything a casino has to offer without leaving the comfort of your chair.
They have four different types of games at their Live Casino: Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Super6. If you’re looking for popular Asian table games like Sic Bo, Andar Bahar, or Fan Tan, look elsewhere. It seems TigerGaming has neglected these games and doesn’t include them on its site. If you do like Blackjack or Roulette, you should be all set with the betting limits, dealers, and tables they have to offer.
Poker
Poker is TigerGaming’s main focus; it’s also the only section of their site that you can access from an app on your mobile device. If you’d rather play poker on your desktop and multi-table with a big screen, you can download it for PC or Mac too. We’ll cover how to download those apps a little later in our review.
TigerGaming is the main site that comprises the Chico Poker Network, with the other two being BetOnline and SportsBetting. This means that you’ll have access to more players than just the ones on TigerGaming, giving you a larger potential player pool. The Chico Poker Network has a ton of tournaments and tables that are filled with action.
They also have different promotions like bad beat jackpots, $1,000,000 Sit & Go tourneys, and more. If you’re interested in playing online poker, give TigerGaming a try. This is what they’re known for, and they have some pretty decent bonuses to back it up.
Bonuses and Promotions
The bonuses and promotions at TigerGaming only focus on poker and their casino. Surprisingly, they have absolutely no bonuses for their sportsbook, which is a huge bummer. If you don’t bet on sports, that won’t be a problem, but it gives no incentive for sports bettors to stay with the site. That’s a huge misjudgment on TigerGaming’s part that they hopefully correct in the future.

Deposits
Despite TigerGaming's few faults, they actually have a really good deposit system. Funding your wallet is really easy, thanks to the ability to use a debit card, eWallet, bank transfer, or cryptocurrency. The minimums and maximums are also something you won’t have to worry about. Withdrawals
Withdrawals are done similarly to deposits at TigerGaming. You may immediately notice that the minimums and maximums have changed. You can now only withdraw 3,000 USD at a time, but you might be able to get these limits extended if you’re a certified high roller. If you do want to withdraw more than 3,000 USD at a time, you’ll have to contact support for more help. You may also notice that there are different crypto options available now, namely Ethereum.

Customer Support
The easiest way to reach customer support is through their 24/7 Live Chat which you can access by clicking the Contact Us button at the bottom of the screen. They also list a support email you can reach out to if you feel the live customer support wasn’t helpful enough.
As with all sites, we gave their Live Chat a test, and it’s pretty decent. You have to go through a quick robot tree that just asks what your problem is and your name before connecting you to an agent. We were quickly connected and had an answer to our question within seconds. All-in-all a decent customer support experience compared to some of the sites out there that use robots and fake support representatives.
Licensing and Security
We definitely understand that licensing and security is the most important factor for an online casino. After all, why would you want to play at a site that is just going to take your money and run? Luckily, TigerGaming isn’t one of those sites as far as we can tell from our own experience and others.
As we mentioned before, they’ve been in business since the height of online gambling; you don’t last long in this industry if you’re known for scamming players out of their money. They also have a license via Thot Management NV, a company based in Curacao. While online gambling licenses from Curacao aren’t exactly the gold standard for poker sites, they’re definitely still reputable and trustworthy.
How to Make an Account at TigerGaming
Making an account at TigerGaming is insanely easy and requires almost no hassle. Just remember, to play with TigerGaming, you need to be 18 years of age or older, and you cannot reside in one of the restricted countries we listed at the start of this review. Don’t bother trying to use a VPN to get around the restriction, as your account and funds may get locked. How to Download TigerGaming Mobile Apps
TigerGaming only has mobile apps available for its poker tables. If you were looking to play mobile casino games or bet on sports from your mobile device, you’ll have to head elsewhere. If you’re interested in crushing micro-stakes or playing tournaments on the go, head over to the poker tab and look for the Mobile tab in the submenu.
From here, you’ll see two QR codes you can scan to start downloading the mobile app for either your iOS or Android device. Do note that you need to be running Android 6 or higher as well as have an iPad 3+ or iPhone 5+. It seems the requirements for iOS are device based and not based on the software version.
Wrap-Up
For a site that has been around since 1999, we can’t help but be slightly disappointed with TigerGaming. While we understand that they are mainly a poker site, their poker doesn’t seem all that enticing when compared to other sites like GGPoker or 888poker. Their virtual casino and live casino leave a lot to be desired due to a lack of different software providers. Their sportsbook is also fairly empty, and any true sports fan would immediately head somewhere else.
That said, they are a fully licensed and regulated online casino with decent customer support and excellent deposit/withdrawal options. The ability to deposit and withdraw funds using bank transfers or crypto is huge and not often found on other licensed sites. All-in-all, we suggest depositing a small amount of money and trying the site out for yourself, but potentially looking elsewhere for an online casino to call home.
